my middle school science teacher used to write the word moron in a thought bubble on the board when someone asked a dumb question. one day she asked the class, “how did everyone do so horribly on the test when it was all in the book?” this really smart kid stood up slowly, walked to the board, picked up a marker, drew the moron bubble, and casually went back to his desk. the next day she hid all the markers in a locked drawer in her desk.
