Getting to the theater.

Waiting for the movie to start.

Lights dim. Movie trailers start.

Movie starts.

During the movie.

Movie ends.

Leaving the theater.

Going to bed.

Waking up in the morning.

“…That movie sucked.”

And you few followers I have are all looking at that heading like:

And probably getting ready to unfollow.

Hear me out, loves.

I want followers:

• Who talk to me.
• Who like my stuff.
• Who send me messages.
• Who say hello once in a while.
• Who reblog my stuff with a funny GIF or comment.
• Who don’t take it personally and unfollow if I don’t follow back.
• Who don’t unfollow when I post something personal.
• Who care about my blog as much as I care about it.

Why would I want someone watching my stuff if they never even show that they care about what I post? Or worse, if they just want me to follow them back to raise that little number on the side bar?

I keep seeing people post things that say:

GUISE, I ALWAIIS FOLOE BAK, PLZ FOLW MEE ND ILL B UR BST FRND EVUR, PINKEE SWARE~~

Why say that?

Well. I don’t want to post something like that. Because I won’t always follow you back, and it’s nothing personal against you. You might be the coolest person ever if I talk to you, but I feel like I won’t reblog things you post. If a follower thinks he or she is so cool, why don’t you say hello and talk to me? I’ll follow if I know you, of course!

Besides, I’ll always thank my followers for following, and sometimes I post a little message to my followers saying that I appreciate everyone. The same reason why you don’t follow every blog you see in your tags, on your dash, or around the tumblr ads.

I love all of my followers. I really do.

If there are hundreds of people out there who truly like my posts and want to follow my blog and my life, then I give my heart to them. ♥ I don’t want normal followers. I want friends. :)

If you notice, you’ll see that I creep on the people I follow pretty much incessantly. I like being that kind of follower and actually speaking to the people I follow. Why not? It’s fun to meet new people!

Followers are a number. I don’t care what the number is today or tomorrow. Sure, when I lose a follower, I’m a little surprised, but that’s fine. I care that my followers are happy with me and my blog, and maybe I don’t post what makes them happy.
